Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We've got answers.
What is RacePaint?+
RacePaint is an AI-powered livery generator that creates unique racing car and helmet designs. Simply select your style preferences, colors, and add custom details to generate professional-quality paint schemes.
How does the AI generation work?+
RacePaint uses advanced image generation AI models trained on racing liveries and automotive designs. You provide style preferences and colors, and the AI creates unique concept art based on your specifications.
Can I use these designs in iRacing?+
The generated images are concept art that can serve as inspiration or references for creating your actual iRacing liveries. You can export the designs and use them as guides when painting in Trading Paints or other paint tools.
What car types are supported?+
Currently we support Hypercar/LMP prototypes with more vehicle types (GT3, F1, NASCAR, Rally, etc.) coming soon. Helmet designs are also available for F1-style helmets.
How many colors can I select?+
You can select up to 4 primary colors for your livery. These colors will be used as the main palette for your generated design.
What is "Repaint" mode?+
Repaint mode allows you to upload an existing photo of a car or helmet and have the AI repaint it with a new design while preserving the original shape and structure.
Are the generated designs unique?+
Yes! Each generation creates a unique design based on your specific combination of style, colors, and custom prompts. No two generations are exactly alike.
Can I download my designs?+
Yes, you can download your generated designs as high-resolution PNG images. You can also view them in 3D preview mode.
Is RacePaint affiliated with iRacing?+
No, RacePaint is not affiliated with iRacing or Trading Paints. It is an independent tool for generating racing livery concept art.
How do I get the best results?+
For best results: 1) Choose a style that matches your vision, 2) Select colors that complement each other, 3) Be specific in your custom details about sponsors, numbers, and design elements you want.
